Skaters code of conduct.
1. We will be on time for our skating sessions and also Canskate coaching, this includes warm-up.2. We will remain on the ice at all times. Unless given permission by the coach. This includes using the washroom. The coach is responsible for all the skaters on the ice and must know where the skaters are at all times.
3. While the coach is working with other skaters we will practice independently and limit the idle chatting.
4. We will work hard and take pride in our successes.
5. We will respect the coach at all times.
6. We will respect and encourage our peer skaters.
7. We will use appropriate language on the ice, in the dressing rooms and any other skating related events.
8. Water is permitted on and around the ice area. Pop and juice prohibited by stadium personnel.
9. We will not chew gum on the ice.
Dress Code:
- We will tie our hair back in a ponytail or braid.
- We can wear headbands or toques, no loose hats or scarfs.
- We can wear a fleece, club jacket, light weight jacket or sweatshirt. Heavy jackets are too bulky.
- We can wear tights, skirts, wind pants, or leggings. Denim hinders movement and pants must be up over the skates.
